MELASMA TREATMENT

It’s a treatment used to treat melasma which lightens the darkened skin patches and spots.

Melasma also known as chloasma is a chronic skin condition that appears as darker-than-normal skin and found on both the cheeks with a irregular border.

Treatment Of Melasma

Melasma can be very slow to treatment. The pigment of melasma develops gradually, and resolution is also gradual. Melasma can fade on its own, particularly when the trigger causing it-such as pregnancy or oral contraceptive use ends.

    Use of high protection factor(SPF 50+) sunscreen all over the face frequently if in outdoors during summer.

    Life long protection from the sun preferably wear a broad brimmed hat.

    Use a mild cleanser, and if the skin is dry, a light moisturiser.

    Make-up is invaluable to disguise the pigment.
